Snow Chaos 10 Months On from the February Mayhem.

Well once again the South East of England demonstrated it’s inability to learn from past events as it slowly ground to a halt due to the snow. Surely, all the departments involved should have learnt from all the mayhem in February and drastically improved their infrastructure and systems so that such a thing never happened again.

Unfortunately though, the tight fisted organisations seemed to see this as a waste of money, as nearly as soon as flakes of snow began to fall the news channels were full of travel chaos stories, such as airports closed, trains suffering delays and people abandoning cars.

Why, oh why, does this country never learn how to deal with these occurrences now that they seem to becoming more and more frequent, we just seem hell bent on having the rest of the world laugh at our incompetence.

Here is what it all looked like in Hampshire this time round, not too bad really: -

Snow at Christmas, looks cool.    Sorry Can't Empty the Bins they have Snow on.    Dark, Cold and Frosty.    Winter's Morn.    A long thin ice rink.    I wish I'd fallen off and turned brown.
